It's Been Too Long...
So first off, please accept our apologies for the lapse of time that has passed since our last post. Weight Of Gravity has been going through a "re-tooling" time as we look to set out for a revival in the Spring of 2010. We are currently working on new songs & all of us are working with other musical interests & projects during this awakening from hibernation into Spring. We look forward to our upcoming shows, which will be announced later on down the road, to bring our fans an entirely new selection of original tunes for your singing & dancing delight.
Bob has been working diligently with Sky Blue Mind as these guys are blowing audiences away with their technical prowess & uncanny cover selection. They recently played a packed Tammany Hall as well as City Lights, another up & coming Worcester hot spot. Be sure to check back for future shows, these guys ARE worthy! If Illuminati Illuminations is there your visual senses will be intensified to go along with their progressive style of music.
Dan & Steve have continued to bring their soulful & skillful acoustic shows each month with upcoming dates at Applebee's in Sturbridge, MA April 9th (8pm - close) & Admiral T.J. O'Brien's April 23rd (9pm - close). I attended their last show at T.J.'s where they had a full bar singing along to classic covers & favorite hits from the 80's & 90's. If you haven't been you must check them out as well.
Evan has been sitting in with Mocha Java at The Ship Room inside the Hotel Vernon located in Kelley Square in lovely Worcester, MA. Mocha Java was ahead of their time in the early to mid 90's bringing a folk infused jam rock feel up & down the Eastern seaboard. They have recently reunited & were quickly invited to host a reoccuring Wednesday night (8pm - 10pm) spot at this once glorious prohibition speak easy, a favorite of Babe Ruth's back in his early Red Sox days. Please come down to soak in the tunes in an incredible acoustic atmosphere.
